Custom Sauna FAQs

Q. What measurements should I provide The Sauna House with?
A. We will need all stud-to-stud interior dimensions of the space intended to be used for the sauna. The standard door sizes included with our pre-cut sauna materials kits are 24” x 71” and 24” x 78”, with custom sizes also available at an additional cost. Also, if there are any specific ideas about interior bench arrangement, they should be included as well.

Q. Can you provide a sauna kit for a very specific layout?
A. We can provide a sauna kit for any sauna concept or layout.

Q. How long will it take to fabricate a custom sauna materials kit?
A. Fabrication periods will vary, but approximately two weeks for fabrication plus delivery time is typical.

Q. What height should I set the ceiling at?
A. The ceiling should be set at no higher than 7’ within the sauna. As heat rises, the higher the ceiling, the more work a sauna heater will have to heat the space to an appropriate sauna bathing temperature.

Q. Can you provide a custom infrared sauna materials package?
A. Yes.

Q. If I require help at some point during installation, can you assist me?
A. At any point during the installation of your sauna you may call us for technical assistance. We will provide any and all support necessary to make sure the sauna is installed properly.
